History of the Inn
| The Travellers Rest dates back to the 16th century as a farmhouse and
has for over a hundred years been an Inn providing much needed rest and
sustenance to passing travellers and locals alike. Recent new owners have tastefully refurbished and redesigned the whole property whilst retaining its original character. The Travellers Rest offers a warm welcome and high standards of hospitality to all. Fine food and drink can be enjoyed in the bar or in our cosy restaurant and we are open all day for refreshment including teas and coffee.
